Astute Oilfields is an Indigenous Ghanaian upstream oil and gas service company dedicated to supporting the Oil and gas industry with our expertise and professionalism in ways that do not provide any form of hazard to clients, employees, visitors and the environment in which we operate in whilst maintaining high quality levels in our service delivery.  

At Astute Oilfields, each of us must be committed to our QHSE Management Systems as part of our day-to-day operations whilst bearing all safety principles in mind & practice. Our safety principles include

  • All incidents and injuries are preventable
  • HSE is a line management accountability
  • Our employees, clients and contractors are obliged to stop a job or refuse to perform it, if it cannot be performed safely
  • We are responsible for our own safety and that of others around us
  • All HSE incidents must be reported and lessons & experiences taken from them for prevention of future occurrence

Astute Oilfields is specialized in the supply & provision of industrial pipes, fittings, flanges & specialized fasteners and also a service logistics company actively involved in procurement related services that proficiently provides offshore, onshore and near shore logistics to E & P, drilling contractors and production companies in Ghana.

The company is committed to the delivery of Quality Service, Safe Working Environment, Customer Satisfaction and a commitment to the Environment.

In the light of this, Astute Oilfields is committed to:

  • Ensure that Top Management demonstrate leadership and commitment required to implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  • Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks to the safety of all our employees, clients, visitors and any third party in our facility.
  • Communicate to all its stakeholders and employees the IMS performance records and implementation strategies
  • Instituting a system for monitoring, reviewing and improving the IMS performance.
  • Provide a framework for setting the Integrated Management Systems objectives and targets taken into account our business risks, stakeholder’s interest, legal requirements as part of our IMS implementation strategies.
  • Comply with all regulatory, legal and statutory requirements, standards and approved code of practice relevant to its operation.
  • Protect the environment, including prevention of pollution and other specific commitment(s) relevant to the context of our organization.
  • To consult, involve the participation of workers and workers representatives in all Health and Safety issues.
  • Report, investigate and close out all incidents and non-compliance. Also maintain, update and test our emergency response and preparedness.
  • Ensure a commitment to the continual improvement of the IMS (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018).
  • Communicate and make this policy available to all relevant interested parties and be revised at appropriate intervals.
